For foreigners who apply for a driver's license in Thailand

Eligibility Requirements for Foreigners:

 

1. Foreigners are required to have a valid passport, non-immigrant visa, or work permit. The visa or work permit must have at least 3 months remaining, while the passport should have at least 6 months of validity.

2. A letter of residence or address certified by the Immigration Bureau or your embassy. A copy of your work permit (applies to expats or foreign residents).

3. A medical certificate, issued at any clinic or hospital and dated within 30 days of the application.

4. Two photos without wearing a hat and glasses (Straight face).

Tips for Passing the Written and Driving Exams

Tip 1: Study for the Written Examination.
